Jack Slams Weight Rumors
Jack Osbourne is pushing back against speculation about his health after recent commentary focused on his noticeably leaner appearance.
In an Instagram video posted Tuesday, May 19, the 40-year-old former The Osbournes star criticized reports suggesting that his weight loss reflected a medical issue. “I have lost no weight since I got out of the jungle doing I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! six months ago,” he said, referring to the U.K. reality series that aired from November to December 2025.
Jack explained that his appearance may look different because he shaved his beard and adopted a mustache, not because of any recent or sudden physical change. He added that his weight loss has been gradual and intentional, following several years of lifestyle adjustments and regular Brazilian jiu-jitsu training.
According to Jack, he reached about 220 pounds roughly three and a half years ago before deciding to make changes. He said he now weighs 155 pounds at 5 feet 8 and a half inches tall, describing his current size as healthy and expressing frustration that public scrutiny has shifted from criticism of his past weight to speculation about being too thin.
The remarks drew support from several familiar faces in the entertainment and sports worlds. Kelly Rizzo backed him in the comments section, while AEW wrestler Chris Jericho also encouraged him to ignore the criticism. The conversation arrives amid a period of heightened public attention around the Osbourne family, whose personal lives have long remained part of the celebrity-news cycle since the breakout success of The Osbournes, the MTV series that introduced Jack, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, and Ozzy Osbourne to a broader reality-TV audience.
In March, Jack and his wife, Aree Gearhart, welcomed their second child together, daughter Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, named in honor of his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, who died at age 76 in July 2025.
Jack later told The Sun that he and Aree had shared news of the pregnancy with Ozzy before his death, adding that the baby’s arrival brought some hope during the family’s grief.
Jack and Aree, 35, are also parents to Maple, 3. He shares three older children with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly: Pearl, 14, Andy, 10, and Minnie, 8.
