Meghan’s Cosmic Turning Point
Meghan Markle appeared to mark a personal turning point over the weekend with a pair of reflective astrology posts shared to her Instagram Story.
On Saturday, April 25, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, reposted a message claiming that Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius signs were ending “the hardest seven years of their lives.” The clip, set to Celine Dion’s “That’s the Way It Is,” featured two men dancing. Meghan, born on August 4, is a Leo.
She followed with a second horoscope post for April 25 that seemed to speak to identity, visibility and public judgment. “The tension between who you actually are and what the world around you was willing to see has been exhausting in a way that is hard to explain to people who have not lived it,” the post read.
The timing sparked speculation that Meghan was referencing the scrutiny she has faced since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. The couple stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 and later relocated to the United States, where their public life has remained closely watched through Archewell, their Netflix projects and their widely discussed interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The post also follows Meghan and Harry’s recent visit to Australia, where they spoke about social media’s impact during an appearance at Batyr, a mental health charity, at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. Meghan said she had been bullied and attacked online every day for a decade, while Harry, 41, linked social platforms to loneliness and reflected on his own mental health struggles.
For Meghan, the posts did not amount to a formal statement, but they fit into a broader public narrative shaped by fame, press pressure and online criticism themes also tied to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.
