24 Days Without Nancy
Savannah Guthrie is intensifying her public appeal as the search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, stretches into its fourth week.
On Tuesday, February 24, the 54-year-old journalist shared a new Instagram video marking 24 days since her 84-year-old mother was taken from her Arizona home in the middle of the night. In the caption, Savannah revealed the family has raised its reward to $1 million, payable “only for the recovery” of Nancy, and urged anyone with information to contact the FBI tip line, noting that callers can remain anonymous.
“We still believe in a miracle,” Savannah said in the emotional video, as she described the anguish of each passing day without answers.
Nancy was last seen on January 31 and reported missing the following day. Since then, Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Camron Guthrie, have shared a series of messages across social media — speaking directly to their mother, appealing to the person responsible and repeatedly expressing faith that she will be found.
On February 16, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that the Guthrie family — including siblings and spouses—have been cleared as suspects, emphasizing that they are victims and have fully cooperated with investigators. The FBI has released photos and video footage of a masked individual outside Nancy’s residence, though no suspects have been officially identified.
Savannah, a longtime anchor of NBC’s Today alongside Hoda Kotb, has leveraged her national platform to keep attention focused on the case. For now, the family’s message remains consistent: hope endures, and their priority is bringing Nancy home.
