The Jon Kate Plus 8 alum, 48, shared the tidbit in a TikTok video posted Saturday, August 9. “Just found out, somebody did block me,” he said, later clarifying, “It was my ex. I can’t see anything! Not that I was looking or anything, but I find it very interesting.”
His comment came only days after Kate officially joined TikTok, introducing herself to fans and confirming the account was real. In her first clips, she explained she was waiting for verification and that her content would focus more on her dogs than her kids. “I’m in my German Shepherd dog mom era,” she joked, hinting that viewers shouldn’t expect much family drama on her page.
The timing of Jon’s statement had fans connecting the dots. Several viewers speculated that Kate had blocked him on the platform, with one even joking about following her instead of him.
Jon and Kate share twins Mady and Cara, 24, along with sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 21. Despite their shared history, Jon confirmed earlier this year that he and Kate do not speak. “We don’t communicate. I think the last time I heard her voice in person was, like, 2018,” he told E! News.
