Andy Drops a Hint
Could The Real Housewives of New Jersey finally be making a comeback? Andy Cohen just dropped a hint — and fans are buzzing.
During the August 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live, guest Matt Rogers didn’t hold back when it came to demanding answers about RHONJ’s future. In his fiery “I Don’t Think So, Honey” rant (borrowed from his own Las Culturistas podcast with Bowen Yang), Rogers called out Cohen directly:
“I am an American standing on American ground and while we still have free speech, you’re on notice Andy Cohen.”
While Cohen playfully spun around in his chair, Rogers made it clear he wants a shake-up — and a comeback.
He even pitched a new direction for the show: Teresa Giudice and husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas get their own spin-off, while the rest of the cast carries RHONJ forward. “God bless! But I feel we have a show here. I miss my girls, I want my Jersey back,” Rogers added.
That’s when Cohen finally gave fans something to hold onto: “We’re close,” he said, playing coy.
What’s Going On With RHONJ?
RHONJ was put on an indefinite break after season 14 wrapped in August 2024. The reunion was scrapped entirely due to intense cast tensions—some of the women reportedly refused to even be in the same room.
In late 2024, Cohen warned fans not to expect updates anytime soon, and by early 2025, sources confirmed there were still no casting decisions.
“There’s still an open line of communication,” a source told Us Weekly, “but no news on who is coming back or who is not coming back.”
Bravo also confirmed that “no decisions have been made around casting,” but Cohen hinted in June on The View that production is “actively casting and looking at the future.”
Who Was in Season 14?
The last season starred Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, and Danielle Cabral. Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler returned as “friends.”
For now, fans will have to stay patient — but Cohen’s “we’re close” might just be the first real sign of life RHONJ has had in a while.
