Hospital Bag Drama Unpacked

On Wednesday, July 23, Olivia, 33, gave fans a glimpse of her efforts in a candid Instagram Story. In the video, her mom, Susan Culpo, could be seen bringing over some sweet treats, including a decadent chocolate chip cookie and a blondie.

“Here goes my diet,” Olivia said, laughing, before posting the video with a cheeky caption: “I told her I’m on a diet” with a skull emoji to match.

The video comes just days after Olivia and her husband, NFL star Christian McCaffrey, 29, announced the arrival of their first child. The couple welcomed daughter Colette Annalise on July 13, sharing the news in an Instagram post. Olivia gushed in a separate story: “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other.”

In addition to sharing her joy over becoming a mom, Olivia also opened up about her birth experience, revealing that she had a C-section. She described it as “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences,” adding that she felt “most at peace” with Christian by her side.

The couple’s love story began in 2019, but they only made their relationship public in 2020. After an April 2023 proposal, they tied the knot in June 2024. Olivia revealed her pregnancy in March 2024.

Before giving birth, Olivia had some fun and faced some backlash when she gave fans a sneak peek at her over-the-top hospital bag. In a TikTok video from July 11, she revealed packing “specific pillows” because, as she put it: “I’m such a pillow snob.” She also packed comforters, skincare products, and a full beauty routine.

“Some of this stuff is more luxury than essential,” she admitted. “But I thought I’d make my hospital stay more comfortable.”

Despite the teasing, Olivia doubled down in a July 15 Instagram Story, where she said, “I got roasted a little for what I packed… but I ended up using it ALL. When you're recovering from a C-section, creature comforts are no joke. Sharing in case it helps another comfort queen.”
