Biel’s Real Fitness Secret

Jessica Biel has opened up about the reality behind her fitness journey, sharing how she’s adjusting her approach as she ages. In a candid TikTok post on July 10, the 43-year-old actress responded to fan questions about her viral white dress from The Better Sister on Prime Video, revealing that the toned look she sported on the show isn’t something she can maintain every day.

Jessica Biel recently opened up about the challenges of maintaining the physique she showcased in the show. She revealed that achieving and keeping that particular shape requires an extremely disciplined and structured approach to both diet and fitness, a lifestyle she finds difficult to sustain. Biel confessed that while she can't commit to that level of strictness, she is now back on track with her fitness plan to gradually return to a similar physique.

In the video, Biel demonstrated parts of her fitness routine, including dumbbell hip thrusts, Romanian deadlifts, and lunges — proof that staying in shape requires constant adaptation as life changes.

“My body is not 20 years old anymore. So I am adjusting my workout to what I need to do,” she explained. It’s a refreshingly honest approach that reminds fans that even Hollywood stars face the challenges of aging and maintaining their fitness.

This isn’t the first time Biel has been open about her self-care rituals. Ahead of the 2024 Met Gala, she revealed a surprising pre-event routine: a 30-minute soak in 20 pounds of Epsom salt. While some may be hitting the nightlife before the event, Biel opts for a more calming approach.

Jessica Biel shared in a May TikTok that while she respects those who party before the Met Gala, her preparation is more focused. She revealed her own method for getting ready for the big event.

In the video, Biel showed herself preparing the bath, dumping several bags of Epsom salt into hot water for a relaxing soak. “With water as hot as you can take it, have a 30-minute soak the night before. Then drink tons of water, and off to bed early,” she shared.

While Biel didn’t go into specifics about why she swears by this bath, Epsom salt is known for its muscle-relaxing, stress-relieving, and detoxifying benefits — making it the ideal pre-party prep for fashion’s biggest night.

It works excellently in tandem with documentary genealogy: confirming or refuting hypotheses, finding unknown relatives, and breaking through brick walls. But expecting the test to build a pedigree back to the 16th century on its own is an illusion. Without archives, parish registers, and competent analysis of matches, the test remains just a set of percentages. We always advise users to first establish a documentary foundation and only then verify it with DNA data
