Never Dated Brooklyn
Model Kim Turnbull, who recently dated Romeo Beckham, has broken her silence following weeks of speculation that she may have played a role in a rift between Romeo and his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham.
Back in April, reports first surfaced via TMZ, claiming that tensions between the Beckham brothers had escalated after Romeo began dating Kim. The twist? The outlet suggested Brooklyn may have shared a “romantic connection” with her years before — a claim that quickly sent social media into a frenzy.
Until now, Kim had kept quiet — but on Monday, she posted a statement to her Instagram story directly addressing the situation for the first time.
“I have never been romantically involved in any capacity at any point with the person in question,” Kim wrote. “Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.”
She added that staying silent had been an attempt to avoid fuelling rumours, but she could no longer tolerate being dragged into false narratives or harassed over things that, in her words, never happened.
Kim and Romeo reportedly ended their relationship in May after dating for about six months. The breakup itself sparked further interest in the family dynamic, especially after fans noticed that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham were absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration. Romeo, along with siblings Cruz and Harper, were there — Brooklyn wasn’t.
Since then, Victoria and David Beckham have shared several public messages of love and support for their eldest son, but Brooklyn hasn’t publicly responded.
Kim’s statement seems aimed at distancing herself from the ongoing drama, as she asked to be left out of it altogether — a clear move to protect her peace amid the spotlight.
