Erika Denies Hookup Rumors

Erika Jayne is putting the brakes on the latest Bravo-fueled gossip — and doing it with her trademark bluntness.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, addressed recent rumors that she hooked up with Summer House cast member Jesse Solomon, 31, after they appeared together on Watch What Happens Live in New York City. Speaking on her podcast Diamonds in the Rough, which she co-hosts with Teddi Mellencamp, Erika was quick to dismiss the speculation.

“First of all, no… I was at home,” she said, denying anything romantic happened after the show.

Though Erika shut down the hookup talk, she did admit to indulging in a bit of playful flirting during the NBCUniversal upfront event. She confessed to chatting up both Jesse and his co-star Carl Radke — and even joked about taking them both home. Teddi backed up her friend’s vibe, calling the guys “cute,” but Erika, true to form, didn’t overthink the moment.

Beyond the Bravo bash, Erika shifted gears to reflect on her recent London shows, which she described as a career and personal highlight. But the high was briefly interrupted when she received emotional news just before one of her performances: her ex-husband Tom Girardi had been sentenced to over seven years in prison for wire fraud.

Despite the moment weighing on her, Erika said she didn’t let it take over her night. “I was 95 percent there and five percent of myself was feeling sorry for myself,” she admitted.

Erika filed for divorce from Girardi in 2020, shortly before his legal troubles made headlines. Now, as she reclaims her stage presence and brushes off the tabloid noise, one thing’s clear — she’s not letting rumors define her comeback.
