Romeo’s Quiet Breakup
Romeo Beckham has quietly ended his relationship with Kim Turnbull, just weeks after his father David Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday celebration.
The 22-year-old footballer and model, who went public with 24-year-old artist and DJ Kim in November, reportedly parted ways amicably after several months of dating. The split is said to have happened a few weeks ago — notably soon after the Beckham family marked David’s big milestone in London.
While the birthday bash itself drew headlines, it also stirred whispers due to the absence of Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz. Their no-show fueled ongoing rumors of tension within the Beckham household.
At one point, some speculated that Romeo’s relationship with Kim may have contributed to those family dynamics. However, insiders insist the breakup had nothing to do with Brooklyn and Nicola and everything to do with timing and lifestyle differences.
“They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues,” a source told Daily Mail. “It’s a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy.”
Both Romeo and Kim have demanding careers that keep them constantly on the move. Romeo’s football commitments and fashion work often take him abroad, while Kim is building her presence as a DJ and model in London and beyond. Their busy lives reportedly made it difficult to maintain a relationship.
The breakup comes nearly two years after Romeo’s previous relationship with Mia Regan ended following a five-year run.
Kim, meanwhile, had once been romantically linked to Rocco Ritchie, the son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie. More recently, online gossip swirled about a possible past with Brooklyn Beckham, though Romeo’s younger brother Cruz publicly denied those claims in a now-deleted social media post, saying the two "never dated."
Neither Romeo nor Kim have commented on the split at the time of writing.
